Introduction to Wangjing Terrace: Wangjing Terrace is located on the 8-meter-high main mountain in the park. It consists of two parts: the 4-meter-high stone veneer Wangjing Terrace and the iconic steel frame pavilion in dazzling Chinese red color. This landmark building in the park can be seen from the Fifth Ring Road and Jingmi Road. The landscape setting of Wangjing Terrace also continues the legend about how Wangjing got its name. It is said that Emperor Qianlong named this place "Wangjing". The resting place at that time was approximately where Wangjing Tower is now.
