Introduction to the Diversion Lake: There is a quiet lake area in the northeast of the park, which was formed by the backfill and renovation of the original lush forest storage area. The water system in the lake comes from the East Lake and goes to the Diaoyutai. The lakeside terrain is gentle and open. Trees such as cedars, ginkgo and tall poplars are mainly scattered on the open lawn. Along the north side of the park's lakeside road, there are spring flower shrubs such as crabapples. It has the style of sparse forest grassland in the 1990s. The crabapples on the lakeside are the best in April every year. It is second only to the Beijing Botanical Garden for its beautiful view of crabapples.
