Berlin Wall Park Introduction: The Berlin Wall was built on August 12, 1961 and collapsed on November 9, 1989. It is 176.8 kilometers long. At present, most of the Berlin Wall has been pushed down, and only this memorial park (Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer) can show visitors the original structure and history of the Berlin Wall.
