Introduction to Dajue Temple: Dajue Temple, formerly known as Puzhao Temple, was built in the 13th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (639 AD). In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Dajue Temple. The main hall was rebuilt in the 4th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. In the 12th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, the south hall was built as the Tianwang Hall, and later changed to the Guanyin Hall. In the fifth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty, the front hall was rebuilt. For more than 1,300 years, Dajue Temple and Haifeng Pagoda have silently witnessed the great changes in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
