Introduction to Saint-Michel Church and Saint-Michel Tower: Basilique Saint-Mchel is located on the bank of the Garonne River at the southern end of the old city. It was built in the 14th century and has a magnificent building. Cathedrale Saint-Andre is also a representative of Gothic architecture in urban Bordeaux. The Saint-Michel tower on the side of the church was built in the 15th century and underwent renovations in 1865. This 114-meter-high tower is the tallest Gothic spire in France. Climbing to the top can provide you with a panoramic view of the city of Bordeaux. On a clear day you can even see the Atlantic Ocean.
