Introduction to Chadong: Chadong was built in the eighth year of Jiaqing (1803). It is a stone castle. During the Anti-Japanese War, Chiang Kai-shek's defeated generals fled to Sichuan through here; during the Liberation War, the Chinese People's Liberation Army led by Deng Xiaoping took advantage of the victory and drove straight into the Southwest from here.
