Introduction to the restoration scene: The Yuchi Temple ruins are located 150 meters east of Biji Village, Xuding Town, Mengcheng County, and about 2 kilometers south of the Beifei River. The site is now a heap 2-3 meters above the ground, in an irregular square shape. There was originally a temple building on the site. It is said that it was built to commemorate the famous Tang Dynasty general Yuchi Jingde who stationed troops here, hence the name "Yuchi Temple". It is about 350 meters long from east to west and 250 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of ​​about 80,000 square meters. It is a large-scale Neolithic settlement site in Huaibei region. In 1986, a cultural relic survey conducted by the Mengcheng County Cultural Relics Management Institute found that from 1989 to the spring of 1995, the Anhui team of the Institute of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted nine excavations, covering a total area of ​​nearly 10,000 square meters. A total of 41 braised earthen house sites, more than 210 tombs of various types, more than 160 ash pits, animal pits, sacrificial pits, public activity squares, enclosures and other relics were unearthed. Thousands of various cultural relics were unearthed.
