Introduction to the Presidential Residence: The Presidential Residence of Slovakia is located in the Grassalkovich Palace on the edge of the old city. This is a Baroque-style building built in 1760. In 1772, Queen Maria Tre Sia once held a grand ball here for her daughter Maria Christina and Prince Albertine. The famous Austrian composer Haydn was conducting the orchestra at that time.
On one side of the square outside the official residence, there is a bust statue of DR.A. KOLISEK, the first president of Slovakia.
