Introduction to Rakkojae Hanok Experience Center: Rakgujae, as the name suggests, refers to a tourist lodge that “experiences the fashionable culture of the upper class aristocrats”. Built in 1934, it was the building of the Jindan Society, which was founded to study Korean history and culture. It was converted into a hostel in 2003 and underwent extensive renovations. It is different from other Korean houses in Bukchon. It is surrounded by walls and has a large courtyard, which is a major feature of it.
