Introduction to the Rose Festival: The first Sunday of June every year is the most famous Rose Festival in Bulgaria. Before the Rose Festival, the Rose Valley area of Kazanlak will select the Rose Queen locally, and then hold a grand ceremony during the festival. On the day of the festival, everyone dressed in bright national costumes and reveled in the refreshing rose wind. The entire Kazanlak Rose Valley turned into a sea of joy.
