Church introduction: Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church was built between 1901 and 1902 and was converted from an abandoned Ottoman mosque. The church takes its name from Saints Cyril and Saint Methodius and their five disciples, called ‘Sedmochislenitsi’. During the reconstruction process, only the nave and dome were retained, and four oval domes, a vestibule and an altar were added. The electronic clock made in 1930 by the famous clockmaker Georgi Hadzhinikolov still hangs on the west side of the building. There is also a small garden and square next to the church.
