Introduction to the Soviet Army Monument: The Monument to the Soviet Army (Monument to the Soviet Army) is located next to Sofia University and surrounded by city parks. It is a place where local young people gather and relax. The sculpture was built in 1954 and shows a Soviet soldier being supported by Bulgarian men and women. There are other sculptures next to the main sculpture, which together form the main part of the monument.
