Mainly focusing on humanities and social science documents, taking into account both arts and sciences, and paying equal attention to the coordination of paper and digital resources, including more than 400,000 volumes of thread-bound ancient books (before 1911), and more than 100,000 volumes of publications from the Republic of China period (1911 to 1949), Hong Kong There are more than 30,000 volumes of Taiwanese books and periodicals. Rentu also has a library of Renmin University, which contains more than 80,000 volumes of works and graduate theses by Renmin University scholars and alumni. The library also has a relatively rich collection of electronic resources, including more than 200 domestic and foreign CD-ROMs and online databases, covering politics, economics, law, education, culture and other humanities and social science fields. Among them, there are more than 33,017 full-text electronic journals and more than 146,000 electronic books.
