Introduction to the Bell Tower: The Bell Tower is located in the center of Queen Street, the main street of the town. It is the most distinctive landmark building in the town. The bell tower is actually a monument (Cenotaph). The inscription reads: On the sea, land and in the air they laid down their lives for our freedom. Also engraved are the lists of soldiers who died in the two world wars.
