Introduction to Yee Wo Street: In the early 20th century, Jardine Matheson owned the land in East Point, today's Causeway Bay Station, so the Hong Kong government named this street Yee Wo Street as a commemoration.
Yee Wo Street is about 300 meters long, connecting Causeway Road to the east and Hennessy Road to the west. The east side of the street is where the Causeway Bay Tram Terminus is located. Traffic on Yee Wo Street is busy all year round, with more than one million people passing through every day. For the safety of pedestrians, a conspicuous circular footbridge is built to connect St. Paul's School on Leighton Road, Sugar Street and Yee Wo Street to the north of Yee Wo Street. In places such as the western section of the city, its images are often seen in art photography exhibitions.
