Introduction to the Fort Gate: The Fort Gate is the entrance and exit of the Chang Family Courtyard. There is a plaque of "Dun Genji" engraved above the door. "Dun" means kindness, honesty and sincerity; "Gen" means Northeast in Bagua. Direction also represents mountains, symbolizing savings and treasures; "吉" represents good fortune, smoothness and wishful thinking.
