It was originally an examination place in Tingzhou in the past dynasties. There are double cypress trees in the examination courtyard, Longshan Academy, Zhuzi Temple, etc. in the courtyard style. The structural wing, covering an area of 11,370 square meters, is now the "Changting Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall", which houses the "Changting Revolutionary History Exhibition, the Capital of Fujian Soviet Area", "Tingzhou Hakka History Exhibition", "Fujian Provincial Soviet Government Basic displays such as "Historical Exhibition" and "Exhibition of Fujian Generals of the Republic of China".
On March 18, 1932, the First Congress of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers of Fujian Province was held here, and passed the "Implementation of Labor Laws", "Land Issues", "Military Work", "Financial and Economic Issues", and "Soviet Construction Issues" " and other resolutions, the Fujian Provincial Soviet Government was established, with Zhang Dingcheng as chairman. It consists of 8 ministries including referee, finance, food, land, women, culture, labor, workers and peasants inspection, etc. After the meeting, the provincial Soviet government office will be held here.
