Introduction to Shennong Ancient Temple: The scenic spot of Longmen was opened in the early years of the Song Dynasty. Later generations built a temple on the top of the mountain in Longmen to worship the God of Grains (Shen Nong), with the intention of praying for smooth winds and abundant harvests. This temple was burned during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. The two-story pavilion-style temple rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty was smaller in scale.
