Introduction to Taiping Nunnery: Taiping Nunnery was built in the Ming Dynasty and renovated in the 11th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1806). In the early days, the temple was large in scale, but later most of it was demolished and converted into a school. The current Taiping Temple was rebuilt in 1995.
