Introduction to Tianhou Palace: The East Gate Tianhou Palace was built in the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1288). It is the only Tianhou Palace in Chaozhou County that officially presides over the Spring and Autumn Festival. Today's building was rebuilt on the north side of the original site in 2002 when the ancient city wall was rebuilt to meet the needs of flood control channel construction.
