Introduction to the martyr’s former residence: Liu Chengao (1898-1928.8), a revolutionary martyr. In early 1928, after the Hunan Uprising broke out, he assisted Huang Kecheng in his village to seize armed guns from reactionary landlords, and led part of the peasant army as the main offensive team to participate in the battle to attack Yongxing County. After conquering Yongxing County, the uprising peasant army was reorganized into the Yongxing County Red Guard Regiment and was appointed commander of the first battalion. In April of the same year, he went to Jinggangshan with the team. In May, he was ordered to return to southern Hunan to carry out guerrilla warfare and served as deputy commander of the Second Route Guerrilla Force. Soon after, he died fighting the enemy on the river beach in Leiyang County.
