Introduction to Wat Chedi Luang: Wat Chedi Luang, also known as the Great Chedi Luang Temple or Wat Chedi Luang. Founded in 1411, it is the most famous among the six major temples in Chiang Mai. Together with the Pasin Temple, it is the most noble temple in Chiang Mai. The tall Lanna-style pagoda in the temple was built in 1441 and was destroyed by an earthquake in the 16th century, but it is still the most magnificent building in the city. There are 6 elephant head statues on the south side of the tower, and there are two halls behind the tower. In the glass cabinet in the middle of each hall sits a wax figure of a monk wearing robes, with bright eyes and lifelike appearance.
