Introduction to Rano Kho Volcano: Rano Kho Volcano is located in the southwest corner of Easter Island. It is the largest volcanic crater on the island and one of the three craters on the island that stores fresh water. The crater is about 1.5 kilometers in diameter and more than 200 meters deep. The crater is like a large stone bowl. At the bottom of the bowl is a freshwater lake with a water depth of nearly 9 meters, providing domestic water for the residents of the town.
