Introduction to the prologue hall: The prologue hall is the "first" exhibition board for Chinese films. Here are displayed 25 firsts in the history of Chinese film since the Chinese made their first film in 1905; 8 firsts in the people's film industry since the first people's film was born in Yan'an in 1938. 1; and 7 firsts for new Chinese films since the birth of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949. These 40 "firsts" record the "century-long journey" of Chinese filmmakers and created the "century of glory" of Chinese films.
