Introduction to Gunpowder Explosion Mural: Cai Guoqiang, a modern artist living in Quanzhou and the United States, successfully painted a giant gunpowder Explosion Mural in the Fujian-Taiwan Marriage Museum in China. The painting is 18 meters high, 9 meters wide, and covers an area of 162 square meters. It is the largest painting of its kind in the world and can be called "the world's largest gunpowder explosion mural". This explosive mural is titled "Same Culture, Same Species, Same Roots" and is Cai Guo-Qiang's gift for the opening of China's Fujian-Taiwan Marriage Museum. The picture is composed of a large banyan tree and its roots. Gunpowder is used to blast special hemp paper and then burned to create the painting. Behind the work, modern LED lighting art and modern computer technology control are used to display 180 surnames on this mural. The computer control and the banyan tree create a wonderful totem. This mural has a profound meaning, symbolizing that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same culture and origin.
