Introduction to the throne of the Jinluan Palace: On both sides of the throne of the Jinluan Palace are six huge pillars with a diameter of 1.00m, each made of lime powder and gilded with cloud and dragon patterns. The gold foil is applied in two colors, dark and light, to make the pattern stand out. There are four pairs of furnishings on both sides in front of the throne: Bao Xiang, Lu Duan (yinlu), crane and incense pavilion. The Bao Elephant symbolizes the stability of the country and the consolidation of political power; Lu Duan is a legendary auspicious animal; the crane symbolizes longevity; and the Xiang Pavilion symbolizes longevity. The country is stable.
