Introduction to the Mid-Slope Fort of Maxian Mountain: The Mid-Slope Fort of Maxian Mountain is located at the top of Maxian Mountain. Compared with the front and rear slope forts, the fort was built in 1868. There are two Krupp cannons on it. During the Sino-French naval battle at Majiang, he assisted the Fujian Navy in bravely resisting the enemy and shattered the French invaders' attempt to occupy the shipyard and Fuzhou. The front and rear slope forts have been destroyed, and the middle slope fort was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1996.
