Introduction to Wangjiang Pavilion: Wangjiang Pavilion is the only landscape building among the Huangshan ruins. The single-story viewing pavilion with an octagonal spire was built in the early years of the Republic of China. It offers a panoramic view of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. In 1939, when Chongqing suffered a major bombing, Chiang Kai-shek and his Air Force advisor Chennault witnessed the tragic bombing of Chongqing here, and then promoted the formation of the "Flying Tigers".
