Introduction to Jintian Temple: Legend has it that wealth and virtue are a pair of brothers, one is rich and the other is poor. One day, Youde saw the crops in the field withered, and he was very sad. In the dimness, it seemed that an old man called him and gave him a pair of golden lions. When I woke up, I saw the golden lion in my arms. That night, when everyone was quiet, the two golden lions opened their mouths and spit out gold, and their lives became richer. After Youcai found out, he exchanged all his family property for a golden lion and moved to his younger brother's house. The wealthy man blamed the lion for spitting out too little gold and often beat the lion with a stick. Later, Jinshi fled on the road and ran to the fields of Youde. In the dark night, the two lions shone brightly and grew up rapidly until they were as big as real lions. They opened their big mouths and spit out gold towards Youcai who was chasing after them, illuminating the surrounding area with golden light. The people who came to watch saw that the fields were full of gold, and the wealth was buried in the gold. After the lions vomited the gold, they slowly turned into two pairs of stone lions. In order to commemorate the golden lion and warn the world, people built a temple with gold from the fields and named it Jintian Temple. Two lions stood on both sides of the gate.
