Introduction to Taixu Terrace: Taixu Terrace is located on the top of Lion Peak. It was built in 1938 by teachers and students of the Chinese and Tibetan Theological Academy to commemorate the 50th birthday of Master Taixu, the president of the Chinese Buddhist Association and the dean of the Chinese and Tibetan Theological Academy.
