Introduction to Lao She’s former residence: Lao She’s former residence was built in June 1940. It was originally the residence purchased by the famous Lin Yutang and his family when they moved to Beibei during the Anti-Japanese War. In August 1940, Mr. Lin left Bei and donated this house to the All-China Literary and Art Circles Anti-Enemy Association as an office.
