Introduction to Tujia Diaojiaolou Group: The most complete existing buildings are the residential buildings built along the river in the ancient town, which are the huge Tujia Diaojiaolou group in the lower streets of the ancient town. These stilted buildings are built on the embankment of the Apeng River. The four- to five-meter-high embankment is made of stone. After more than 200 years of river water erosion, the stone embankment has not tilted at all.
