Introduction to Minzhu Lake and Meishi Film School: Minzhu Lake is a scenic lake on the campus of Chongqing University. It is located in Area A of the Chongqing University, close to the Siqun Square of the Chongqing University. On the eve of liberation, in order to prevent the authorities from cutting off water, teachers and students of Chongqing University spontaneously organized to build an artificial lake and named it "Democracy Lake". There is a square pavilion in the center of the lake named "Lake Center Pavilion", which can be used for rest and tourists to stop and watch. There are peach trees and willow trees dotting the lakeside, and statues of major celebrities and alumni are scattered on the grass. The ashes of the old president Zheng Siqun are also buried by the Minzhu Lake.
