Introduction to the National Geopark: Chongqing Yunyang Longgang National Geopark was established in September 2005. It is a popular tourist destination in the hinterland of the Yangtze Three Gorges International Golden Tourism Belt. The main landscape types of the park include the karst type dominated by Longgang Karst Tiankeng and the flowing water landform type represented by Stalagmite Gorge, South Three Gorges and Huangling Gorge. It also takes into account the grassland biological landscape and the large-scale comprehensive landscape with rich Tujia customs. National Geopark; known as "The Last Shangri-La of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River".
