Introduction to the Calligraphy Gallery: During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty and after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, Peng Juxing, the imperial eunuch of the late Qing Dynasty, the head of the academic department, and a native of Yunyang County, Kuizhou Prefecture, brought back to Yun a large number of authentic calligraphy and painting volumes or rare copies of their rubbings collected in Beijing. In the sun, the stone is carved again, a monument is erected, and the temple is built. There are a large number of stone and wood carvings in the temple, all related to him. The three characters "Peng Juxing" can be seen everywhere in the temple. The four characters "Jiang Shang Feng Qing" in front of the temple were written by him. "Jiang Shang Feng Qing" was changed to "Long Live Chairman Mao" during the Cultural Revolution, and it was not restored to its original appearance until 1979.
It is worth mentioning that during the Cultural Revolution, the temple administrators cleverly wrote quotations from Mao Zedong or Lin Biao on the backs of the woodcuts, so that these precious woodcuts, which were at least before the Qing Dynasty, were preserved.
