Introduction to the International Antarctic Center: The International Antarctica Center is located near Christchurch International Airport. Since 1901, there have been many activities to the Antarctic, using Christchurch as the starting point. The architecture of the International Antarctic Center is inspired by the special landforms of Antarctica such as icebergs and glaciers. The interior is designed according to the climate, ice and snow of Antarctica, and videos of Antarctic polar scenery are also played. The International Antarctic Center houses the Antarctic Marine Fish Museum and the Antarctic Storm Simulation Museum, where you can also feel the freezing cold of the simulated Antarctic wind and snow.
