Introduction to the Jade Emperor Palace: The Jade Emperor Palace was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties by King Rong Ding of Changde and King Huayang of Lizhou. Due to damage during the Cultural Revolution, the current building was restored and rebuilt in 2006. There are bells and drum towers on both sides. The evening drums and morning bells are a fairyland that people have longed for for thousands of years. The Jade Emperor Hall is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, one of the highest gods in the Taoist world. His status is second only to the Three Pure Ones, and he is in charge of the way of heaven. He is the master of the three talents and controls the average axis of heaven, earth and people.
