Introduction to Bandaranaike International Convention Hall: Bandaranaike Memorial International Convention Hall is a white octagonal building, known as the "symbol of Sino-Sri Lanka friendship". It is located in the center of Beta District, Colombo. Magnificent, exquisite and spectacular, it is one of the city's landmark buildings. The building was provided free of charge to Sri Lanka by the Chinese government. It was completed in May 1973. It has been built and put into use for more than 30 years and has played an important role in Sri Lanka's social life.
