Introduction to Christiansborg Palace: Christiansborg Palace was built by Archbishop Absalon in 1167. It once became a royal palace. It was destroyed by a fire at the end of the 18th century and has been repeatedly rebuilt and renovated. The current palace is a Baroque building completed in 1928. Part of it is the Danish Royal Guest Room, and it is also a museum open to visitors. The underground exhibits include the ruins of the city in the early 12th century and some of the earliest parts of the city.
