Introduction to the Calahorra Tower: The Calahorra Tower (Torre de Calahorra) was built in 1369 as a military fortress built to resist the attack of Pedro I. It was later used as a prison in the 18th century and a girls' school in the 19th century. It is now open to the public as the Museum of Al-Andalus (Museo de Al-Andalus), which collects and displays testimonials that record the common development of three civilizations (Islam, Christianity, and Judaism) in Cordoba. You can see it here The lifestyle of the people of Cordoba in the 10th century AD, as well as the restored model of the Great Mosque during the Moorish rule.
