Introduction to the Old Tai O Police Station: The Old Tai O Police Station was built in 1902. It is a two-storey Western-style building. It stands on a hill next to the Tai O Ferry Pier. It is the earliest built in the New Territories. One of the police stations. There is a fort, a pillar and a pool in front of the main building. The Chinese square tile roof, cornices and vaulted balconies of the building all have typical colonial style and Italian Renaissance colors. Now, it has been reused as a heritage hotel. The hotel's room names are also unique, including Director's Room, Commander's Room, Seahorse, Sea Lion, General's Stone, etc.
