Introduction to Sanho-in: Sanho-in was built in the 3rd year of Eternal Year (1115) by Shōkaku Monmasa, the fourteenth generation abbot of Daigo-ji Temple. It is the main temple of Daigo-ji Temple and the abbots of successive generations have lived here.
