Introduction to Oyoshoin: Oyoshoin is also called an academy. The corridor is surrounded by railings. A spring hall is built in the southwest corner. It is a unique building that introduces the architectural style of the Heian period shrine. There are lower section room, middle section room and upper section room. The lower section room is also called "Yang Stage Room". When the tatami is lifted, it can be used as a stage for Noh performances. The upper and middle rooms are higher than the lower room, so you can look down to watch Noh and Kyogen. The building with a thatched roof adjacent to the east side of this outer academy has a pure view and is a protected cultural relic.
