Bochuan Library Introduction: Bochuan Library was built in memory of Dr. Qu Bochuan, a famous educator and one of the main founders of Dalian University of Technology. The library covers an area of 4,000 square meters and has a construction area of 20,000 square meters. It has five floors in the main body and six floors in some parts. The exterior design is elegant and modern. It is a masterpiece of Professor Qi Kang, a famous Chinese architect and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and an architect from Dalian University of Technology. Bochuan Library adopts a horseshoe shape in plan, with a concave surface facing the square of the main building of the school, and the two wings are slightly stretched. The north entrance facade uses vertical windows to contrast with the large stone wall, and is embedded with a relief sculpture, which is a metaphor for "the explosion of knowledge."
