Introduction to People's Cultural Club: Dalian People's Cultural Club. Built in 1951, it was designed by a team of Soviet experts. The main designer was Belarusian Nayev. Its exterior design style adopts the simple symmetrical design that just emerged after World War II. Its interior uses a long-span circular dome and European style The carved stage arched proscenium was the most advanced theater architectural design in the country at that time. It was comprehensively renovated in 1995. Its architectural shape is modeled after the large pediment sculptures and snooker columns that were popular in nineteenth-century European theater design.
