Introduction to the Ten Thousand Buddhas Palace: The Ten Thousand Buddhas Palace is the main project of the Desert Earth Art Museum. It is the largest Buddhist art palace in Xinjiang so far. It consists of three parts: the Great Buddha Hall, Qiuci Hall and Gaochang Hall. The Qiuci Hall and the Gaochang Hall are respectively based on the stolen and severely damaged murals from the Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves in Baicheng and the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves in Turpan. They were verified by experts and restored to depict the most representative paintings in Xinjiang. There are more than 1,200 square meters of ancient Buddhist murals. There is a ten-meter-high painted Buddha in the Big Buddha Hall. It is enlarged and sculpted based on the exquisite red Buddha unearthed in Yanqi. It is currently the "largest Buddha in Xinjiang". The Palace of Ten Thousand Buddhas reproduces the glorious achievements of ancient Buddhist art in different periods, and its vicissitudes of life can be seen by viewers.
