It was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. After two wars, it was renovated during the Guangxu period. In the 20th year of the Republic of China (1931 AD), the county government hung a wooden plaque with the words "Ming Shai Jiao Zhan", so it was renamed "Ming Shai Tower" and is now a county-level cultural relics protection unit. . There is a statue of the God of Fire inside the building.
