Introduction to Zhazang Temple: Zhazang Temple was built in the first year of Yankang of the Eastern Han Dynasty and has a history of 1,700 years ago. Because the third Dalai Lama, Sonam Gyamtso, once visited the temple to lecture and preach the Dharma, it became famous and became one of the thirteen largest temples in the Amdo region. It was burned down and rebuilt many times, and what we see now is the building that was rebuilt during the founding of the People's Republic of China.
