Introduction to Xinchang: Xinchang Ancient Town is the earliest organized town in the west of Dayi. It was first built in the Eastern Han Dynasty and emerged in the Jiajing Period of the Ming Dynasty. It has "One Xin (chang), two Tang (chang), three "Guankou" reputation. There are two quaint watchtowers at the entrance of the ancient town, which are replicas of the existing ancient watchtowers in Touyan Village, Xinchang Town. The watchtower has a three-story layout, with two completely different styles, European and Western Sichuan. The exquisite carvings and decorations vaguely reflect the wealth and luxury of the owner at that time.
