Introduction to Dazhao Memorial Scenic Area: Dazhao Memorial Scenic Area is located in the west entrance of the park, covering an area of about 1.5 hectares. The granite bust statue of Li Dazhao was designed by Qian Shaowu, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The statue was built on an artificial mound. The base is 8.50 meters long, 3.60 meters wide, and about 3 meters high. It is covered with black marble. The statue has a shoulder width of 6.25 meters. It uses an exaggerated technique to increase the size of the shoulders, highlighting Li Dazhao's lofty thought of "having an iron shoulder to carry moral principles and a skillful hand to write articles." Sand cypresses are planted under the base. The upturned cypress tips symbolize Li Dazhao's tit-for-tat confrontation with the enemy. An evergreen coniferous mixed forest composed of pitch pine, juniper and arborvitae is planted in the background of the statue, highlighting the martyrs. The image of a steadfast and unyielding hero expresses the people's memory of the martyrs. Like these pines and cypresses, he is evergreen, immortal and will always live in the hearts of the people. Cedars, boxwood balls and small tillers are planted in the green spaces on both sides of the axis, which symbolizes that the revolutionary seeds sown by Li Dazhao have bloomed all over the motherland.
